Managed WiFi for apartments, condos and townhomes
WiFi for hosts with more than one rental
Every unit gets its own WiFi.
Every rental gets its own WiFi.
Home N'at gives every apartment, condo and townhome its own private WiFi network and key, turns it on at move-in and off at move-out, and runs the whole thing for you. Mid-rises, high-rises, townhome rows, student housing and small communities.
Several rentals in one building or side by side? Home N'at gives each one its own private network and a fresh key for every stay, so last week's guests can't get back on and never see the next guests' devices. Your smart locks and thermostats sit on a network guests can't reach.
- Unit 303 key on for move-in, texted to the resident
- Unit 112 lease ended; key off, port back to empty
- All 12 access points up
- 2A checked out; its key stopped working
- New key made for 2A's 4 PM arrival
- All access points up
The old way
One password for the whole building.
The same password since the first guest.
What you have now
- Everyone shares one network, so neighbors see each other's printers, TVs and speakers
- Residents plug in their own routers, which crowd the air and slow everyone down
- People who moved out still know the password, and changing it means everyone reconnects
- When WiFi is slow, nobody can tell whether it's the building, the internet or one unit
- Every past guest knows the password, and changing it means reconnecting every TV and lock
- Guests can see the next unit's devices, and yours
- Smart locks, cameras and thermostats sit on the same network as strangers
- When the WiFi acts up between stays, you drive over to find out why
With Home N'at
- Every unit is its own private network; no one sees anyone else
- Each household gets its own key, on at move-in and off at move-out
- Wired jacks follow the unit, so a resident's own gear lands on their own network
- Your dashboard shows which unit, which access point and which switch port, and what to try first
- Every stay gets its own key; it turns off at checkout
- Every rental is its own private network
- Locks, thermostats and cameras go on a separate network guests can't reach
- You see every unit's WiFi from your phone, and most fixes are one tap
How it works
From walk-through to running on its own.
A free call
One hour by phone or Teams. We look at your building, your internet and what's not working, then send a short checklist so the plan is straight.
The box goes in
A small server in your office or network closet. We set it up on your UniFi or Omada gear with a private network for every unit.
Keys follow your leases
Keys follow your stays
Add residents from your property software's export or right in the dashboard. Keys start at move-in and stop at move-out on their own.
Add each stay in the dashboard or from a spreadsheet. A new key is made for every guest and stops at checkout.
It runs itself
Your staff handle the day to day from a phone. On Managed, we watch it with you and take care of updates and fixes.
What you get
Your office runs it. You barely think about it.
A private network per unit
Every apartment, condo, townhome or rental is walled off from the rest. Residents' TVs, printers and speakers show up only for them.
One key per household
Every phone, laptop and TV in the unit uses the same key. Renewals keep it; a new resident gets a new one.
Every device in the party uses one key, made for that stay and ended at checkout. No more changing the password between guests.
One dashboard, any phone
Who's on, who's moving in, which access point is busy, and how much data each unit uses. Re-send a key, pause a unit or start a new key in one tap.
Wired jacks follow the unit
Units with wall jacks get their own network on the jack too, so a resident's own router or game console stays on their network, not the building's.
Locks and cameras kept apart
Door access, cameras, thermostats and the office each get their own network, so residents and guests can't reach them.
Fair speed per unit
Set a speed for every unit so one heavy streamer can't slow the building, and change it for one unit any time.
Data use per unit
See how much each unit uses today and over the last 24 hours, and when your internet line is getting full, so you know before residents complain.
A help page for residents
Every key text links to your building's WiFi help page: joining, TVs and consoles, a forgotten key. It sends the key only to the phone or email you have on file.
Outages handled
The box is on site. When your internet comes back after an outage, everyone is back online without re-entering anything.
Fix it
Your maintenance team can fix most of it.
Fix it tells your staff whether a problem is the access point, the cable, the switch, the internet or the WiFi controller, what to try first, and who to call. Many problems clear with a restart or power cycle button.
- Points to the exact switch port an access point is plugged into
- Spots a unit someone reset and puts it back with its old settings in one tap
- Names the exact replacement model when a unit dies, and the new one takes over the old one's settings
- Writes down every reset, swap and restart, so you can see what happened and who did it
Copyright letters
A copyright letter, looked up for you.
Internet providers forward copyright letters weeks after the download, and all they name is your building's internet address, a port and a time. Every unit is on its own private network and the box keeps 180 days of your gateway's connection records, so when the gateway recorded that connection, the box can match the letter to one unit and who lived there. We test that your gateway records them when we set it up.

Billed monthly, all year. Residents and guests go to your office, not to us.
Book a free callPrices don't include internet service, access points, switches or cabling. Any gear your property needs is quoted in writing before you commit to anything, and if you already have UniFi or Omada, we reuse what works. Rentals need to share one internet line: units in one building, or next door to each other.
Questions
The things owners ask us first.
Does the price include internet service?
No. Home N'at runs the WiFi on the internet service your property already has, and you keep paying your provider as you do today. If the internet itself is the problem, tell us on the free call and we'll look at your options.
Will I need new equipment?
Maybe, and you'll know before you spend a dollar. If you already run UniFi or TP-Link Omada, we reuse what works. Older or consumer gear usually can't give every unit its own network, so it gets replaced. You get a written list of anything new, with prices, before you sign.
Do you take calls from residents or guests?
No. We support your staff, and your staff support your residents. Key texts and the WiFi help page show your office's phone and email, and the tools your office needs (re-send a key, pause a unit, check a unit's signal) are one tap in the dashboard.
Which property management systems work with it?
Any system that can export a spreadsheet of units and residents works today, and so does adding residents right in the dashboard. Live connections to systems like AppFolio, Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, Buildium and Rent Manager come on as each one grants access. Ask us about yours.
I host on Airbnb or VRBO. How do guests get their key?
You add each stay in the dashboard or from a spreadsheet, and the hub makes a key for that stay and shows it to you. Airbnb and VRBO don't share guests' phone numbers, so you paste the key into your check-in message. The key stops working at checkout. Calendar sync with Airbnb and VRBO isn't built yet.
My rentals are in different buildings across town. Does it work?
Not as one system. Home N'at runs on one internet line, so it fits units in one building or right next to each other. Rentals spread across town would each need their own setup.
Can residents bring their own router?
They don't need one, and with wired jacks set to follow the unit, anything they plug in stays on their own network instead of crowding everyone else's.
What happens at move-out?
The key stops at the end of the lease, and the unit's wired jacks go back to an empty network. A new resident gets a new key. Renewals keep the same one.
What happens when our internet goes down?
Residents lose the internet, the same as with any WiFi. Nothing else breaks: the box is on site, so every key stays on the WiFi. When the internet comes back, everyone is back online without re-entering anything. New keys and changes made in the dashboard go through once it's back.
Can you add cameras?
Yes, as an add-on on UniFi Protect, for lobbies, entrances, mail rooms and parking. You and your staff view them in the UniFi Protect app; the footage stays on your property's own recorder, not on our servers. Quoted for your property.
What do you collect from our box?
Box health and network usage, so we can fix problems before you call. Never what residents browse. Contact details are kept 180 days after a lease or stay ends so copyright notices can be traced, then cleared.
Can we run it ourselves?
Yes. You own the box. Run it yourself and your staff handle the day to day; we still hear about outages so we can help if you call.
